[edit]The heading for this item is 'Personal Property Securities Register'. All of the Canadian Provinces have a personal property securities register, as do each of the State of the USA. Despite this, the content for the item relates exclusively to the New Zealand Personal Property Securities Register. No mention is made of the other personal property securities registers. The heading for the item should be amended to reflect this. Kambah (talk) 09:01, 20 May 2010 (UTC)
- It now mentions Australia too. What articles cover the Canadian and US registers? Nurg (talk) 09:08, 19 March 2011 (UTC)
- Just passing through and spotted this. Are the US and Canadian systems actually called Personal Property Securities Registers? They appear to have various subtly, or not so subtly, different names although I couldn't find Wikipedia articles describing any. There is Personal Property Security Act (Canada). Despite the previous comment, I found no US equivalents with even a remotely similar name. If there are such things, with this name or very similar, there will be officiial websites and it would be very easy to tack on a sentence with a reference. Otherwise, the worldwide view tag seems misplaced. Lithopsian (talk) 15:08, 16 May 2018 (UTC)
- Conceptually the PPSR and PPSA acts around the world are very similar, and work off a similiar basis. The fact that these important acts have a wikipedia page shorter than a minor Star Trek character says a lot. This really should be the launch page to articles on the overall ideas, and each individual country. Olivertownshend (talk) 01:40, 9 June 2018 (UTC)
