Public Art.

[edit]

You mention Barbara McCarren (me) as the artist of the faultline in Pershing Square, but nothing about, for example, the artist who put a Carey McWilliams' quote on the longest bench, made the telescopes, planted orange trees, etc. and don't name her at all in the public art section. The 1993 art plan was the most comprehensive public art installation at Pershing Square, sponsored by the CRA and DCA. In fact, Barbara McCarren is consulting on the public art in 2023, during the current renovation. Dept of Cultural Affairs has info on the 1990s art plan.
