Merge proposal

In my opinion this information belongs in the Persepolis F.C. article and does not need a separate article -- Timberframe (talk) 14:56, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

please check Juventus F.C. honours , Real Madrid C.F. honours and ...

Persepolis has had the most impressive record of titles among all the Iranian teams.so i think persepolis needs separate article from honours. Shahin (talk) 10:55, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Okay, I see that there's a precedent and an established pattern. But in fact both the clubs you mention have comprehensive "honours" sections in their "club" articles, so the "honours" articles duplicate them with very little expansion; having the same info in two articles just doesn't make sense to me and it doubles the amount of maintenance required to keep the info up to date. If we keep separate "honours" articles then I suggest the content in the "club" articles needs to be reduced to a minimum and wikilinked to the "honours" articles. -- Timberframe (talk) 11:26, 24 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
