Donald Trump

[edit]

Trump has utilized this strategy on several occasions since taking office but does not have a section in this article. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.230.194.59 (talk) 16:25, 15 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

He has a section now, great. Can we add a license-free image that illustrates how he does campaign while in official function? Something like the one in this article, where Trump wears a cap with his "KEEP AMERICA GREAT" slogan at an official visit to the CDC in Atlanta on March 6th, 2020? When I lived in the US it always struck me how shamelessly politicians campaign with taxpayer's money without being held accountable, e.g. this sign above the highway in Chicago. Without imagery, it is hard to imagine what is really going on for someone who isn't living in the US. That the shameless campaigning actually works rather than appalling the population is a mystery for people looking at this from the outside. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.75.225.22 (talk) 09:12, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Nazis during the Weimar Republic

[edit]

I have read and heard several times that the Nazis during the Weimar Republic engaged in a "permanent campaign" including rallies, speeches, demonstrations, marches and street brawls. Maybe this should be added here if sources can be found... Hobbitschuster (talk) 15:10, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
