Example is confusing
[edit]What is "b" supposed to be in this "modified" Phillips curve map, anyway? It does not appear in the equations for the iteration. mike4ty4 05:11, 29 August 2007 (UTC)
Why just discrete?
[edit]The article states this is just for discrete dynamical systems, but period doubling happens in continous time systems too (just consider the behaviour of the Lorenz system). Maybe we should expand the article to full generality? Anders Sandberg (talk) 11:22, 30 October 2014 (UTC)
