¶ Perek Shirah has an interesting bibliographic history, which is almost totally unavailable in the English language, altho an Israel scholar produced a very extensive study of it for his Ph.D. thesis, which is entirely in Hebrew. Among the considerations that deserve attention is the source or antiquity of the work, the different versions of it, certain obscurities of some of the animals mentioned therein, etc. I am adding a few notes to this article, but someone with real expertise could have a field day! [edit]I added in Hebrew to the android reference, rather than removing the link; however, I question including links to Hebrew pages. MichelleInSanMarcos (talk) 14:15, 26 January 2016 (UTC)
