- @GwydionM: Wikipedia exists as a collection of information that has already been published in reliable sources. Your eyewitness report has seemingly not been published anywhere but here hence why it is a textbook example of original research:
The phrase "original research" (OR) is used on Wikipedia to refer to materia for which no reliable, published sources exist
