Overheard in New York as reference
[edit]I question the use of Overheard in New York as a reference. There is nothing about that site that explicitly makes a comment on people watching. Thisisnotatest (talk) 07:25, 7 December 2015 (UTC)
I agree. Also slightly twitchy about the whole eavesdropping thing. Eavesdropping is about deliberately listening in, and has slightly sinister connotations, whereas people-watching is a more light-weight affair. At most, I think it could include the idea of overhearing, rather than specific eavesdropping. IMHO, of course. Prehensile Tale (talk) 10:45, 18 December 2015 (UTC)
