Should People's Artist of Russia have its own article?
[edit]The award is still being given out, and Russia is no longer part of the USSR. So it doesn't seem to make much sense that typing in "People's Artist of Russia" redirects to this page. Yuriy Norshteyn received the People's Artist of Russia award in 1996, for example. Esn 12:14, 20 April 2006 (UTC)
azerbaijan ssr
[edit]why is azerbaijan ssr not added to this list? one of the azeris who were awarded with this titel were Rashid Behbudov, Gara Garayev, Uzeyir Hajibeyov i think azerbaijan ssr deserves a place between the other former republics Karabakh 08:57, 10 May 2006 (UTC)Karabakh
- Well, if you speak Azeri (or any of the languages missing), add it. --Explendido Rocha 09:36, 10 May 2006 (UTC)
Why is Sofia Rotaru highlighted?
[edit]Why does she stand out among other appointees? --Jaan Pärn (talk) 08:03, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
Just continuing my monologue here: Rubikonchik, if you are so desperate to add Sofia Rotaru here, come up with a better statement than just "For example, Sofia Rotaru" this and that. --Jaan Pärn (talk) 16:32, 6 July 2009 (UTC)
Sofia Rotaru is the only one who has cumulated three People's Artist decorations.--Rubikonchik (talk) 11:50, 12 May 2010 (UTC)
