What's the go with adding locations to this sort of article? e.g. the Cockburn settlement was at 32°8′30.79″S 115°46′32.69″E / 32.1418861°S 115.7757472°E / -32.1418861; 115.7757472 but there were other places of significance too. —Sam Wilson 01:20, 12 November 2015 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure that it's even necessary. Personally I find that including the coords inline breaks the flow of the text but if you wanted to include them, I'd suggest:

A table, if there's a few of them, or
Put coords in a footnote attached to the text, eg:

... the settlement at Cockburn^[a] ...

Frontier War
