Date of death conflict
[edit]Barnes and Noble says May 3, 2000, whilst the article says April 28, 2000.
- She died April 28, 2000. Her obituary ran in the New York Times and elsewhere on May 3, 2000. [www.britannica.com/ebi/article-9311264] [books.guardian.co.uk/news/ articles/0,6109,216535,00.html]Nareek 05:51, 25 February 2006 (UTC)
Discrepancy
[edit]The article says she launched her literary career in 1975 at the age of 60. Since she was born in 1916, doesn't that make her 59 (or, more likely, 58, since she was born in December)? Jon Rob 13:13, 20 November 2006 (UTC)
Trivia: Reference in a Mark Knopfler video
[edit]The paperback of The Gate of Angels appears at about 2:07-2:10 of the video for Knopfler's song "What it is" (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uSdQ3Ze2VOM&mode=related&search=).--Logomachon 01:06, 1 May 2007 (UTC)
Another Discrepancy
[edit]"Historical novels[edit]
Fitzgerald said in 2000 that she "had finished writing about the things in my own life, which I wanted to write about"
She had to have said the above quote sometime after writing "At Freddie's", 1982, and "Innocence", 1986, not in 2000, the year of her death. I'm not sure just how to edit that sentence. I will change it to "Fitzgerald said after writing "At Freddie's", that she...etc. If anyone wants to tinker with that, fine with me. Smaxam (talk) 06:24, 13 November 2013 (UTC)
