notability
[edit]I see this article has been nominated for speedy deletion. Newspapers with regular print circulation, especially those with paid subscriptions, are inherently notable. References in 3rd party resources are going to be more difficult to locate, other newspapers (or other media outlets) dont tend to cover the competition.--RadioFan (talk) 03:50, 22 May 2009 (UTC)
- Nothing is inherently notable. "Inherent notability" is not an excuse to create articles that are little more than phone directory listings. Notability is established by third party sources, not by having "paid subscriptions"! By that logic, dozens of porn sites should have Wikipedia articles. name change
[edit]As the name of this newspaper has changed, I am moving the article to "Pender-Topsail Post & Voice”. Ryan Shaw (talk) 15:49, 16 May 2023 (UTC)
