"In 1446-1450 Pelhřimov was chosen as the venue of land diets, attended in person even by the king Jiří of Poděbrady." 'diets' probably isn't the correct word. I think 'deities' might be the closest, but that doesn't make much sense in the sentence either. Any other thoughts? Comatmebro (talk) 22:04, 24 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]
It seems likely to be "diets" in the sense of "A council or assembly of leaders; a formal deliberative assembly" (see wikt:diet#Noun item 4). That's just a guess, though. --Stfg (talk) 16:18, 29 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]
