In 2008 Peggy Webb turned her talents to writing cozy mysteries with Elvis and the Dearly Departed: A Southern Cousins Mystery (Kensington Publishing Corp.). Kensington published the first five books in that series, including Elvis and the Grateful Dead (2009), Elvis and the Memphis Mambo Murder (2010), Elvis and the Tropical Double Trouble (2011) and Elvis and the Blue Christmas Corpse (2012). Subsequent cozies in this series were Indie Published (Elvis and the Bridegroom Stiffs, Elvis and the Buried Brides, Jack Loves Callie Tender)and are available as ebooks on Amazon, Barnes & Noble and at Smashwords.
In 2011, Webb's first literary fiction novel, The Tender Mercy of Roses, written under the pen name Anna Michaels, was published by Gallery Books, a division of Simon & Schuster. In 2012 Peggy Webb became a USA Today Bestselling author for her book Witch Dance which appeared in an Indie Published, limited run anthology (Dangerous Desires) with fellow writers, Vicki Hinze, Debra Webb, Regan Black, and Kathy Carmichael. When Simon & Schuster published The Language of Silence in 2014, they used the name Peggy Webb.
This author also writes literary fiction under the pen name, Elaine Hussey - The Sweetest Hallelujah (2013, MIRA) and The Oleander Sisters (2014, MIRA).
Currently this prolific author lives in northeast Mississippi and continues to write cozy mysteries and literary fiction. She is also editing the romances from her early career and bringing them back as ebooks.
