[edit]What does the article (or section) do well? The article is structured very well. The introduction does a great job of creating a background for the reader, and the way the article flows from the history to current functionality, and finally into security is very well done. The sub-headings also do a nice job of breaking down sections into smaller paragraphs.
What changes would you suggest overall? Maybe adding information into the section that talks about safety and security. People personally interested in the topic and thinking of using a P2P payment application will most likely be concerned with security. Thus having more information may be useful. Information could be related to each application itself and their security policies in place, or a technological explanation of how the security works. Personally, I still haven't downloaded Venmo (shocking) because I don't trust the app. Additional information and background could be very helpful!
What is the most important thing that the author could do to improve his/her contribution? Adding citations in the Wikipedia format instead of having the Works Cited list at the end of the article. Certain sentences in the article needed citations so readers could check the source to see where the numbers or statements came from (ex="P2P payment volume is expected to reach 86 billion dollars by 2018." - having a citation here would be helpful). Also, compiling information from more peer-reviewed or scholarly sources (ones from the NEU Library website). Investopedia is a great website but getting some diversity in sources could be helpful, as well as making sure the sources are academic in nature (academic journals, peer-reviewed, scholarly sources).
Did you glean anything from your classmate's work that could be applicable to your own? If so, let him/her know! I definitely took some tips from the way the article was written. The writing style sounded very professional, but was still engaging at the same time, which makes for a great Wikipedia article. Overall, a very good job!Jghusky88 (talk) 21:55, 27 October 2016 (UTC)
