Some facts await verification
[edit]Some facts for this article await verification. Notably, his place of birth is given differently in two sources; Spanish Wikipedia gives it as Mexico City, and his biography on esmas.com (the Televisa website) lists Ixtlán del Río. A personal Damián page on geocities, http://mx.geocities.com/pedrodamian_actor/ lists three books written by Damián but I have been unable to verify their publication dates or locations. Finally, all the sources (wikipedia.es, esmas.com, and geocities.com.mx) claim that he studied children's education and communications at "Instituto Tecnológico de la Educación" (Technological Institute of Education) but fail to give a date of graduation or a location of the school, and an internet search yields no school with that name. My best guess is that he actually attended one of the campuses of the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education, but guesses don't count on Wikipedia.
My intent is to contact Damián to attempt to get correct information on these things. Until that time they are not included in the article. Other data also remains to be added.

[edit]In copy-editing I have Wikified: compacted text, removed any weasel words, loaded terms, fan-speak, blogese and unsupported claims that existed. I have added cite requests for unsupported claims. I have restructured the sections for a better read. The ref link against Alexa Damián was erroneous.. it has been removed, as has the References section that has no refs.
If anything is reverted, do this with adequate linked evidence to corroborate assertions... words like ‘hit’ are unacceptable unless they are contained in quotes from reliable independent sources that can be inline cited – blogs and promotional web sites are not acceptable as necessary third party original sources.
Could an editor with good knowledge of Damián’s life and career extend this article, especially his early life? - everything cited/referenced of course, and with no trivia or personal opinion.
Any future edits that display Wikipedia:COI or non-Wikipedia:Verifiability and are added from a non-Wikipedia:Neutral point of view will be swiftly removed.
