INCOMPREHENISIBLE

The article says, "Although she did study psychology at university, she was forced to leave school at the death of her father, and she left it in charge of her brothers." The antecedent of "it" is unclear. She was not in charge of any school, so she could not have left a school in charge of her brothers. Also, she only had one brother. Did the writer mean "siblings"? I wonder if the writer is not a native speaker of Engish and meant to say:

". . . she left school to care for her siblings"?

Luz did care for her sister; but I don't recall that she cared for her brother, who actually got in trouble for caring for her. {EnochBethany (talk) 04:19, 11 April 2011 (UTC))[reply]
