WPMILHIST Assessment
[edit]A fine start, and an interesting subject. Please provide references, though. Also, I'm afraid I do not quite follow the logic of the final paragraph; veterans have to apply for it, and therefore it is an official military decoration? The implied cause and effect seems odd to me. Maybe this needs just a little bit of rephrasing. Thank you. LordAmeth 08:43, 10 January 2007 (UTC)
- Agree about the conclusion drawn that it is ipso facto a military award. Furthermore, the law was amended to allow civilians to receive the award. About references--for the time being the statutes cited serve as references.--Nyctc7 (talk) 22:06, 17 September 2012 (UTC)
