[edit]Are there any websites that describe the history of Peakhurst? I can't find any... RealWingus 01:24, 26 Jun 2005 (UTC)
- There is a really good book about the history of peakhurst floating around somewhere. I think Husrtville or Penshurst library would have a copy. The bellman 04:17, 2 February 2006 (UTC)
- I thought I saw it at my school's library once, but I couldn't find it. -220.236.128.217 05:46, 3 February 2006 (UTC)
- Try the Hurstville Council website - they have an online archive of photos of various suburbs which include informative captions. There is (was?) a small booklet in Hurstville Library on Sir Thomas Sutcliffe Mort, after whom Mortdale was named. This *may* have limited information about Peakhurst as he owned the adjoining property (its edge was along Boundary Road). Also, the Lugarno Progress Association has an online history of Lugarno which has references to nearby suburbs, although I'm not sure if this includes Peakhurst. youcantryreachingme 00:55, 10 September 2006 (UTC)
