original format
[edit]The original format, rather than one that more strictly follows WP:MOSDAB, provides a more user-friendly layout, which is the reason guidelines like that are written in the first place. I perceive the users constantly changing this the last week to be doing so just to prove a WP:POINT, rather than genuinely fixing bad disambigs as they should be doing, and I invite them to come here and present their views. As it stands now, the layout is not helpful or user-friendly. --Chris (クリス • フィッチュ) (talk) 16:05, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
- Just saying that one is more user-friendly is not especially convincing. If you can explain why a user would be better able to navigate the older version than the modified version, that might be helpful. People are attempting to clean up the page because you haven't provided any actual reason not to follow the guidelines. Propaniac (talk) 16:12, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
- I'm going back and forth between the two versions but I can't, for the life of me, see what the difference is. Could someone blatantly point out what formatting is in contention? Thanks. Padillah (talk) 19:04, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
- After reviewing MOSDAB, the following format is actually more correct than the current version:
Peace Scouts may refer to:
- Girl Peace Scouts, often called the "Peace Scouts", the original name for GirlGuiding New Zealand
- Peace Scouts of California, an early group engaged in Scouting in the United States
- National Peace Scouts, also known as British Boy Scouts and British Girl Scouts Association
- Peace Boy Scouts, another name for Ragazzi Esploratori Italiani, an early group engaged in Scouting and Guiding in Italy

- Line 1: Fine either way. I tend to link GirlGuiding New Zealand instead of Girl Peace Scouts so that readers see the actual title they're going to, but your way has the advantage of anchoring directly to the section titled "Girl Peace Scouts".
- Line 2: This is also fine if you think Peace Scouts of California should eventually have its own article. You might also consider using Scouting in California as your bluelink since it already links back to Peace Scouts of California.
- Line 3: Same as line 1.
- Line 4: Same as line 2 except Peace Boy Scouts should be linked from Scouting and Guiding in Italy. ---In short, no problem. Station1 (talk) 22:51, 5 April 2010 (UTC)

- I doubt Peace Scouts of California will ever have an article. They are notable only in that they were formed shortly before the BSA and their leader was a BSA national commissioner for a short period after they folded into the BSA. ---— Gadget850 (Ed) talk 01:16, 6 April 2010 (UTC)
