Russian or Ukrainian?

[edit]

Even if Dybenko was born in what was later declared "Ukrainian SSR", and even if he spoke native Ukrainian, (besides native Russian , there is no such thing as Ukrainian Revolutionary in 1916...1917, unless you mean Ukrainian nationalist, Ukrainian separatist. Dybenko was neither. The commie revolt was absolutely NOT nationally oriented. On the contrary, it was ANTI national. Many would say, it was communists against human kind. More kindly speaking, Bolsheviks openly intended to ruin Russian empire and use it as a base for the WORLDWIDE revolt. A man who used machine guns against unarmed demonstrants in Petrograd sure wasn't acting as an Ukrainian revolutionary. It is no good to reinvent history just as a tribute to the Ukrainian nationalism revival. —Preceding unsigned comment added by AbuAmir (talkcontribs) 05:58, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
