"In Rome he became secretary to Cardinal Antonio Pucci." - This seems to be Cardinal Lorenzo Pucci. Bombasius died in 1527, and Antonio P. became Cardinal only in 1531. Furthermore, Pierre Bayle in his DHC, art. Bombasius, remark [B], says: "Bombasius calls him the Cardinal of the four Saints. He wrote to Erasmus in the Year 1517, that against his Inclination he was obliged to deprive himself of the pleasures of Rome, to accompany that Cardinal’s Nephew in his Nunciature to Swisserland (3)." - This nephew should be Antonio Pucci. SS. Quattro Coronati was the titular church of both of them. There are several other secondary sources, that name Bombasius as secretary of Cardinal Lorenzo Pucci.
