Works
[edit]Interesting article. There is a list of works and some additional details here which might be worthwhile including on the basis of the references given. Is there no further info on her exact date and place of birth? - Ipigott (talk) 16:56, 3 August 2011 (UTC)
- That source is no longer available. -- Beardo (talk) 02:02, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
DoB, first work
[edit]https://sf-encyclopedia.com/entry/ashwell_pauline gives her date of birth as 1926, and lists her first work as "Little Red Steamer", which does have a listing on Amazon - https://www.amazon.com/Little-Red-Steamer-Illustrated-Esm%C3%A9/dp/B000WINLB0/ref=sr_1_19?crid=TTHF55D5XW02&keywords=Pauline+Ashwell&qid=1645984562&s=books&sprefix=pau%2Cstripbooks%2C2719&sr=1-19 -
From a google search, I find a long article and interview - this looks like a better source. -- Beardo (talk) 19:30, 27 February 2022 (UTC)
Hugo Awards
[edit]It was stated that the 1958 awards were the first to include women nominees. That statement was incorrect - 1956 included two - http://www.thehugoawards.org/hugo-history/1956-hugo-awards/ - but that information was not easily available when the original source for that comment was written. -- Beardo (talk) 02:01, 3 March 2022 (UTC)
