1634

I was in Germany, and on the bottles, it says "Since 1634" so I would wager that that's the correct date for opening, although it might be the year they started selling beer.

Sources

I might just have missed it because I was not easily able to find my way around the linked website, but it did not seem to actually describe the history of the brewery. From where is this information? Loriel 06:21, 29 July 2006 (UTC)

How is it pronounced?

Dates

Hello, I am trying to find out if Paulner put the day or month first when dateing their beer? Any help in this matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Cylinda Liptow —Preceding unsigned comment added by 199.67.7.151 (talk) 18:19, 7 June 2009 (UTC)

From: http://sites.google.com/site/freshbeeronly/ Paulaner (pow-LAH-nuh) (the 2nd syllable rhymes with the fa in father) Uses a four-digit bottling date. The first two digits are the month, the last two are the year.71.96.129.132 (talk) 19:47, 9 September 2009 (UTC)
