Image reverted pending copyright clarification
[edit]An image of a silver kettle held at the V&A museum has been removed from the article, hopefully temporarily, whilst copyright issues are clarified by myself with the museum. The text removed is as follows:" File:LeQuesneKettle.jpg | Silver kettle, stand and lamp made for the marriage of Sir John Le Quesne to Mary Knight in April 1738. Mary Knight married secondly Robert Knight, 1st Earl of Catherlough. It displays the acorn arms of Le Quesne, which name derives from the French Chene, oak. William Randolph Hearst expressed his attraction to this object. Made by Paul de Lamerie, 1736-7. Victoria and Albert Museum no. loan Gilbert.675-2008[1]" (Lobsterthermidor (talk) 12:38, 7 March 2011 (UTC))
Setting up WikiProject Silverware?
[edit]Would anyone be interested in helping to set up a WikiProject Silverware? I'm interested in salvers, coffee pots, jugs, candlesticks, famous silversmiths, different styles, etc. Thanks. Girlwithgreeneyes (talk) 11:54, 3 April 2012 (UTC)
