The Racist Mind of Paul Richards
[edit]Based on an Instagram comment by Paul Richards in response to racism and colonialism, it appears that he credits white people for the "gift" of Western Civilization. Further comments suggest that Mr. Richards believes that white people alone sent the first human to the Moon when in reality, it was an unprecedented collaboration in the history of the United States of different races and genders that made it possible (it should be noted that major contributions in design and computer coding was by both Black people and women). Additionally, if you visit Paul Richards' site to see his art that's being sold, Mr. Richards continues to perpetuate the tradition of cultural appropriation by white people around the world by selling portraits of artists such as Frida Kahlo who were revolutionaries against white imperialism.
