Paul Henris Death

[edit]

as a Mallet-Prevost family member currently living in the states, Paul Henri did not die in Geneva, he died in New Jersey, where he escaped. Multiple family records indicate Paul Henri was actually sympathetic to the revolution, sold all but one of his estates, and joined the republican army. He served as a high ranking officer in the republican army during he war of the first Coalition. however since he was a member of the aristocracy, he was rejected as he decided to assist his fellow members of the aristocracy escape france. An Order was put for his arrest by Marat, so he would flee to Switzerland, and then to germany. He would go to holland, then to england, and then to NYC. He would settle down in Alexandria, modern day frenchtown, and bring his family over from france. While most of this is family records, and is somewhat backed by actual records, we do know for a fact he did not die in Geneva. Garvey64 (talk) 16:45, 16 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]

What you write doesn't fit at all with the subject of this article, who never even went to the United States according to all the dictionaries in which he has an entry, did not have a military career, and was not a member of the aristocracy. You must be confusing him with another person with the same name. --Sapphorain (talk) 22:02, 16 December 2022 (UTC)[reply]
