Korea

[edit]

Hello, I have a question. A body text says, "Möllendorff quickly learned enough Korean to be able to communicate with the king and soon earned to trust of the emperor". Who does the "emperor" in this sentence refer to? It seems the effort done by Mollendorff in order to obtain trust of Gojong. If it is right, we should use a word in this sentence, not Qing's "emperor" but "king" (Gojong). --Nightshadow28 23:46, 2 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
