[edit]I'm working with The College of New Jersey in the Anthropology of Cyberspace seminar class to work on this article. I will be updating the page with my group members in attempt to improve the article's quality and bring it closer to Wikipedia standards. One area I will address first is the introduction section. It is far too brief and provides little information about Paul Dourish. I will also try to break up some of the information in the single other section into appropriate separate sections, as well as add more relevant information and sort through the existing information. What Needs Attention
[edit]This article had many errors. First off everything in clumped together into the one category “Life and work”. There is no formal biography that has its own section and there should also be more detail about his life. There is also no picture of him. Instead it is mixed into everything. The article goes into little detail about his work it actually about. To even begin to understand his work, you must go to several other pages. This should not be necessary and other pages should be visited only to supplement information already in the article. His research done for his job should be separated from his books. A more through discussion of both research and books should be placed in the article. There is definitely a lack of footnotes and sources here. I would also include more external links. Ideas could be to possibly add a link to where you can buy his books. Another thing is that the article mentions that he owns 9 patents, but gives no information to what those patents are. For all the reader knows his inventions could be completely irrelevant to what he studies and researches now. The lack of detail in this article is truly astounding to me. I feel completely confused to what Dourish actually does with his life. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sidow9 (talk • contribs) 16:09, 30 November 2011 (UTC)

Moved the books from "Life and Work" to the more appropriate section of "Publications" STLRacing (talk) 20:49, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
I have cleaned up the article a bit. I am working on sorting the information to the correct sections, as well as expanding upon the lead section to make it stronger. I believe a group member has contacted Paul Dourish to find a picture that we can attach to his Wiki page. If not, I will do the matter. I have redone the Research section completely as well as added information to his Life section. STLRacing (talk) 20:52, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
Added a useful brief information box to the Lead section. STLRacing (talk) 21:04, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
Cleaned up the article once more, expanding upon information and filling gaps. I divided his life into one separate section, as it is substantial and differentiated from his work. STLRacing (talk) 21:30, 17 December 2011 (UTC)
Eric was able to recover a picture from Dourish himself. I just uploaded the picture to Wikipedia and added it to the article with a caption. STLRacing (talk) 05:08, 18 December 2011 (UTC)
