According to my research, the page "Paul Courbis" was already created twice and deleted twice. I believe that this person is notable in the wikipedia sense for a number of reasons, but most notably his long term influence on the development and evolution of the HP line of calculators.
I am a first person witness of the development of the team of hackers around Maubert Electronique, and an author of several HP-48 games myself. Of note that Jean-Yves Avenard, who with Cyrille de Brebisson, authored the "meta-kernel" (a complete replacement for the standard "command line" of the HP calculators), later went on to become the team leader for the software on all HP calculators. This is easily verified using Google, e.g. [1]. Unless I'm mistaken, these two people (Avenard and Brebisson) learned their tricks from the same book and/or from Paul Courbis himself. There are a number of other second-level testimonies, including interviews published on HP sponsored sites.
