Is there a reference for the bye off the final ball of the UAE World Cup match bit. Found the incident on on Youtube and it looks like it should have been a bye but the ball does just bounce before the keeper takes it so it wouldn't have been out if the umpired believed hit it. Just watched the video (who knew YT had footage of that match from all the way back in 1996). Nowhere near it. So just a run, as the umpire doesn't call a bye, with no catching opportunity as he was miles away from it. AA (talk) 00:10, 21 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]
