Bob Hope USO Tour in the Pacific completion
[edit]In Patty Thomas, there is a list of all places and bases visited by Bob Hope's USO Tour in the Pacific in 1944 and Pavuvu Island is not listed there. According to E.B. Sledge's book "With the Old Breed" Hope's tour acted in Pavuvu for the 1st Marine Division before they went to fight on Peleliu; therefore this island should be included in the list. Please check.
