I'm glad to see other editors tackling country music articles. You were kind enough to get Lorrie Morgan reviewed for me, so why not return the favor. This article was very well-written and informative.

  • I removed a couple of passages that were cited only anecdotally or to vague sources like "as seen in X".
  • I removed a citation from Songfacts as content on that site is user-submitted and therefore unreliable. It didn't seem to add anything anyway.
  • Make sure you only link terms like Owen Bradley or Hot Country Songs or Allmusic or Billboard (magazine) the first time they appear. Go through a couple times and make sure to catch any overlinks of this sort.
GA review (see here for what the criteria are, and here for what they are not)
  1. It is reasonably well written.
a (prose, spelling, and grammar): b (MoS for lead, layout, word choice, fiction, and lists):
Again, as I said, the only real issue I see is overlinking. This is not a major issue and should be an easy fix, so I won't hold it back for this alone.
  2. It is factually accurate and verifiable.
a (reference section): b (citations to reliable sources): c (OR): d (copyvio and plagiarism):
  3. It is broad in its coverage.
    a (major aspects): b (focused):
  4. It follows the neutral point of view policy.
    Fair representation without bias:
  5. It is stable.
    No edit wars, etc.:
  6. It is illustrated by images and other media, where possible and appropriate.
