Group Home at 942 Marquette?
[edit]Question: Was this a group home for kids in the early 90's? I think i may have lived here for a couple of months when i was 12 or 13 but i can't find any indication that this is the correct address. Thanks to anyone who might remember. Nyc-mitch (talk) 02:15, 6 May 2017 (UTC)
- @Nyc-mitch: Was the group home called "Valley Shelter" or something like that? If so, this was probably the place. According to the NRHP nomination form, the house was owned by Valley Shelter Real Estate Co. Valley Shelter is/was a Davenport non-profit that provided emergency shelter care to children from low-income families. One of the addresses I found for the organization was this one. It's not clear if it still exists. A couple of names associated with the organization are William Reagan and Kathy Deboeuf. I hope this helps. Farragutful (talk) 14:55, 9 November 2017 (UTC)
