DOB
[edit]Crocker's date of birth has not yet been found. Support for the year 1929 is easily found, as in her memoir she says her parents were married in 1927 [p. 27] and she arrived two years later.[p. 28] The possibility of a 1930 date is raised by the fact that in December 1939 she entered two eisteddfods here and here in the 9 years and under age group. She was described by a newspaper in November 1941 as 11 years old. An even later date is suggested in her memoir, recounting that when she left with Ruth Cracknell for London on 6 December 1952, "I was twenty-one and had been working as a radio actor for over ten years".[p. 116] Doug butler (talk) 20:32, 11 February 2020 (UTC)
