Revision Plan

[edit]

For this article, I hope to contribute significant updates. Within “Funding navigator or non-navigator programs,” I plan to provide information about more recent federal laws impacting the financial resources and regulations impacting patient navigation programs. I am interested in elaborating on the current benefits and limitations of governmental support for specifically non-profit, community-based patient navigation programs in the United States. I hope to write new sections concerning the demographics of clients who seek patient navigation services, how patient navigators typically collaborate with other workers in the American healthcare and welfare systems, and the effectiveness of patient navigation programs upon improving the clients' quality of life and health outcomes.
