Jonathan Coe

The article refers to Jonathan Coe's description of this work in his 2014 novel Expo 58. I have added a reference. Although embodied in a work of fiction, Coe's description is an excellent piece of music appreciation, which altered my opinion of a work I had previously considered a lightweight potboiler.
