Copyright problem
[edit]This article has been revised as part of a large-scale clean-up project of multiple article copyright infringement. (See the investigation subpage) Earlier text must not be restored, unless it can be verified to be free of infringement. For legal reasons, Wikipedia cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions must be deleted. Contributors may use sources as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences or phrases. Accordingly, the material may be rewritten, but only if it does not infringe on the copyright of the original or plagiarize from that source. Please see our guideline on non-free text for how to properly implement limited quotations of copyrighted text. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 21:07, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
- The contributor who placed this content here has a verifiable history of copying content from print sources. This material has been presumptively removed accordingly in line with Wikipedia:Copyright violations: "If contributors have been shown to have a history of extensive copyright violation, it may be assumed without further evidence that all of their major contributions are copyright violations, and they may be removed indiscriminately." However, if copyright concerns are alleviated, there are also issues with original research. If a previously published source did not say, "Loss is a strong theme in the narrative and Raban himself describes the themes of this beautifully crafted travelogue in his own inimitable, self-deprecating fashion", we have no business saying it ourselves. --Moonriddengirl (talk) 21:09, 19 February 2010 (UTC)
