About the "advertising/promotional" tag

To the person who tagged the article as advertising/spam -- please make a case here on this talk page about what specific parts of the text are seen as advertising and spam. This is a nonprofit organization which has a purpose of running a public-service campaign against addictive drugs; so I don't see the organization as selling some specific product or service in the same way that a large packaged goods firm does. Please explain specifically how you might improve it.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 11:54, 23 March 2013 (UTC)

About the comment that this article is somehow PR for the Partnership at Drugfree organization -- I am a handyman; I do not work for the Partnership at Drugfree.org nor have I ever worked for them; I have not been paid by them nor received any type of possible compensation from them. Further, I think there have been others (who did work for the PDFA) trying to "improve" the article with some PR etc, and I have done my best to keep it out. I researched most of this article and wrote it according to Wikipedia's rules for reliable sources, verifiability and neutrality. Essentially, the article says what the sources say, such as the NY Times and other respected newspapers; like, if you asked a reporter to write a story about the PDFA, they would agree that this article is competent at describing it (although my own view is that perhaps more could be done to summarize what the organization is doing at the present.) Perhaps the problem you are having, seeing this as "advertising", is that you have run into a well-run organization which has occupied a rather unique spot in the American media, which was widely reported in the media (deservedly so, in my opinion), and which has done a lot of good overall in the sense of helping deter perhaps millions of teenagers from using illegal drugs. So, it may appear as "advertising" to you, but consider that it appears positive because it has done many positive things.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 12:43, 23 March 2013 (UTC)

To the tagger, please make a case for the tag otherwise it will be removed in time.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 11:24, 25 March 2013 (UTC)

Agreed. The tagger should make a case, if they don't within the next few days I support removing the tags. Freikorp (talk) 11:56, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
Thanks.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 13:23, 25 March 2013 (UTC)
Been about a week; no case made; tags removed.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 13:44, 27 March 2013 (UTC)

Warfarin as prescription bottle with claims of abuse? Really?

Warfarin is a blood thinner and under no circumstances is a prescription medication to be abused by anyone. Please replace it with a medicinal bottle of legitimately abusable medicine that people are using. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.36.132.146 (talk) 03:22, 29 July 2013 (UTC)

What? I did not see the term "warfarin" in the article.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 19:10, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
Done. Saw Warfarin in photo. Replaced photo with Xanax picture.--Tomwsulcer (talk) 19:18, 30 July 2013 (UTC)
