park prewett
[edit]park prewett was a mental home opened in 1917 for phychiatric patients the ground on which it was built was known as park prewwet farm but they sustained the area and put the hospital there the hospital closed down early 1997 due to espestose in the building and caved flooring there are also believed to be hauntings around that area due to the people that died in there a lot of people say the souls are tourmented by the bad treatment they recieved up until the 1970s but now only 2 parts of the old buildings are left which is the water tower which is nearly callapsed and has to resort to the help of scaffolding to hold the structure up and the main hospital which is in the middle of a feild next to the remians of prewett is the new mental hospital which is called parklands hospital which hgas a slightly bigger campus then prewett but there have been several staff attacks at parklands such as a receptionist was given severe chinese burns on her arms but there are some staff members who were around to see what it was like in the previous establishment and have said "i still have nightmares about some of the things i have seen and gone through in that place" so that pretty much sums up prewett in one sentence the futur for the remains of prewett is secure as the buildings are listed so they are not allowed to be touched due to local history reasans, but that also has its downsides because youths usaully try breaking in to the old buildings for adrenaline but put themselves at risk of trespassing. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.0.188.136 (talk) 01:55, 17 August 2009 (UTC)
