Auf Wiedersehen, Pet

Why does this article state that Parents of the Band was preceded by Auf Wiedersehen, Pet? It has stated this since this edit http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Parents_of_the_Band&diff=prev&oldid=389717603

Is is just because Jimmy Nail was in both of them? Matthew Fennell (talk) 17:36, 29 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I was just about to ask the same question. Sharing a couple of writers and an actor (playing a different character) does't mean these shows are linked together. I've removed the section here and on the Auf Wiedersehen, Pet article. -M4roho (talk) 11:44, 21 September 2012 (UTC)[reply]
