no coumarine precursor
[edit]Forming coumarine from p-coumaryl alcohol is impossible. The real precursor must be a compound with an o-hydroxyl group. The real precursor is cinnamic acid which is first hydroxylated to o-hydroxyl cinnamic acid which forms the lactone easily. --FK1954 (talk) 12:01, 31 October 2018 (UTC)
