Metalurgy/crystalography has a "parabolic rate constant" for oxidation which is often in the literature abbreviated to "the parabolic constant." As there are not a plethora of other uses I do not know the appropriate action to take here, short of a disambiguation page. The parabolic constant (mathematics) being well known under the name Universal parabolic constant, I moved the current page there and created a disambiguation page. You might want to edit the description of the parabolic rate constant. Bomazi (talk) 03:39, 25 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]
