Casualties update needed a citation
[edit]A "new" editor tried to update the casualties in the infobox from at least 38 killed (2010 – March 2022)
to at least 57 killed (2010 – December 2023)
, but did not provide a citation for the new information. So it has been reverted.
The old citation was to Pahlevi, Reza (16 June 2022). "Kekerasan di Papua Telan Ratusan Korban Jiwa, Mayoritas Warga Sipil" [Violence in Papua claims hundreds of lives, most of them civilians]. Databoks. Archived from the original on 11 October 2022. Retrieved 8 October 2022.
@Rembo01: if you do not know how to do a citation, try completing the following template, but giving the information for your source:
- {{cite web | url=https://databoks.katadata.co.id/datapublish/2022/06/16/kekerasan-di-papua-telan-ratusan-korban-jiwa-mayoritas-warga-sipil |title=Kekerasan di Papua Telan Ratusan Korban Jiwa, Mayoritas Warga Sipil |trans-title=Violence in Papua claims hundreds of lives, most of them civilians |work=Databoks |date=16 June 2022 |first1=Reza |last1=Pahlevi }}
It is a method of recording the URL, the title, the title translated into English, the work (name of newspaper or website), the date it was published (not the date you looked at it), and the first and last names of the author of the source.-- Toddy1 (talk) 15:42, 10 March 2024 (UTC)
Infobox
[edit]Per Template talk:Infobox military conflict#RfC on "supported by" being used with the belligerent parameter, "Supprted by" is deprecated. Per the final sentence of the closure of that request for comment, "However, these circumstances would be rare, and considering the clear consensus in this discussion the status quo should be removal; inclusion would require an affirmative consensus at the article". So "Supported by" can be removed immediately as reflecting current consensus, and it would be up to those wishing to include to obtain a fresh consensus for inclusion.
