Map problem
[edit]The map listed as a reference has over forty land areas demarcated, not thirty-four. The map does not match the village names of the block. For example, it includes Senganur, a village in the Thiruvidaimarudur taluk of Thanjavur district, and Athiyur, a village in the Kumbakonam taluk of Thanjavur district, as well as the town of Cholapuram. None of the village names listed in this article seem to appear on the map. Additionally, while the village list for the revenue block is the same as listed for the Papanasam taluk here, the shape of the outline does not match the outline shape of the taluk on the 2011 census map here page 27 (Map 2). The map appears to cover an area north of Papanasam. --Bejnar (talk) 16:23, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
- It turns out that the url was incorrect. Despite saying "Papanasam", the region parameter was set for "Kumbakonam" region=6. which apparently overrules the name setting. Papanasam is region=9. I have made the correction. --Bejnar (talk) 16:38, 23 July 2014 (UTC)
