Reviewing now. --Jens Lallensack (talk) 02:11, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

  • Paora (hatched 9 April 2019) is a brown kiwi – What species is this? There are two species of "brown kiwi". I would also link to the species, not to the genus.
  • that was the first to be born in Florida. – the first kiwi or the first brown kiwi?
  • him being mistreated went 'viral'. – link "viral" to Viral phenomenon, as older people may have problems here.
  • What is an "iwi leader"?
  • Is there a dot missing at the end of the Zoo Miami quote, or did you deliberately leave something out there?

Assessment: Sources support the text as far as I can see. Article reads very well, no further issues. --Jens Lallensack (talk) 02:32, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Jens Lallensack Thanks for the review. I've addressed all the issues you've described although I couldn't find a source that says what species Paora is so I've kept it as "brown kiwi". I've also linked viral video instead. Do you think that it's a better link or should I change it to viral phenomenon? ―Panamitsu (talk) 04:32, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. Link to "viral video" is fine. Regarding the plural: Both "kiwi" and "kiwis" are possible. You can choose, it just needs to be consistent (there is one instance of "kiwis" in the article). --Jens Lallensack (talk) 08:58, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah the "kiwis" is referring to the nickname for New Zealanders, which is always pluralised with "kiwis". ―Panamitsu (talk) 09:49, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, got it. Never mind. And congrats, promoting now. --Jens Lallensack (talk) 10:33, 2 December 2024 (UTC)[reply]
