Names

[edit]

The existence of multiple English names for this species is a a very good argument for having this article at the scientific name. Roger (talk) 07:01, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Indeed. There can be no doubt that in this case the scientific name is the only worthwhile title. --Stemonitis (talk) 07:27, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
We should probably have redirects at all of the common names. If any of the names are shared with other species a disambiguation page is required. Roger (talk) 08:07, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I have already put in redirects from all the common names that seem reliable. I removed a couple that are generally only used for other species, so I don't think there are any disambiguating issues. --Stemonitis (talk) 09:39, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Excellent! It's really amazing to see how quickly a post on a help page can become an entire new article. Roger (talk) 11:57, 27 January 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Aquaculture?

[edit]

According to the source used in this article it is difficult, none the less there are many reports online that it is commonplace, including a Wikipedia article: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spiny_lobster_culture_in_Vietnam. FAO estimated a worldwide production of around 1500 tons (primarily in Vietnam) in 2011.82.171.204.45 (talk) 18:56, 4 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Seed Lobster

[edit]

The section 'Seed Lobster' reads as tendentious and lacks citations. In short, it seems the writer had an ideological axe to grind. RobotBoy66 (talk) 09:56, 17 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
