Multiple double bonds in phosphate group?

Why does the phosphate group of the 4'-phosphopantothenate have three oxygens that are double bonded to it, rather than just one double bonded O, and two singly bonded O-s, as in this diagram? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.44.98.35 (talk) 22:17, 3 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]
