Liquid, not solid
[edit]I corrected the statement about panthenol being a solid. Pantothenates are solids, panthenol is a viscous liquid. --Slashme 09:41, 15 May 2006 (UTC)
Pantothenol
[edit]"Pantothenol is not, however, absorbed through the skin..." Is this correct, or does it mean Panthenol?217.44.129.163 09:29, 13 October 2007 (UTC)
- Well spotted. I have corrected the article. --Slashme 10:17, 15 October 2007 (UTC)

"Bepanthen" is a registered Trade Name of an antiseptic cream currently (2009) produced by Bayer Australia.
Its active ingredient is benzalkonium chloride. It does not claim to contain Panthenol. It is curious that one of the alternative names of Panthenol is also Bepanthen. Bepanthen is listed in the properties box on the "Panthenol" wiki page, but is not listed as an alternative name in the body of the "Panthenol" article. Wikiphan (talk) 14:12, 15 July 2009 (UTC) |
