This article should not be speedily deleted for lack of asserted importance because... (your reason here) today is a day picked out by various institutions to increase wikipedia's coverage of women artists. To further this end many volunteer editors have been signed up at places such as this Wikipedia talk:Meetup/ArtAndFeminism. Most of them are first time editors acting with varying degrees of oversight by more experienced editors. i believe that I will be able to come up with enough info to create at least a minimal stub about Stockton. My guess is that there might be more of these floating around, but I believe it to be a very worthwhile endeavor, both in terms of creating new articles that shed light in a somewhat neglected part of wikipedia, women artists and women in general, as well as perhaps allowing us to get a couple (or more) dedicated new editors.
